On the one hand oldschool singer/songwriter-folk with acoustic guitar on the other hand electro-sample-overkill with MPC and analogue synthesizers.
That could mean trouble. Could...
But indeed Werle & Stankowski form a perfect symbiosis. Sounds a bit like Bob Dylan with Air after a short stay in Kingston and a phonecall from Aphex Twin. Stankowskis lyrics are straight, touching and sometimes pathetic without hiding behind ironic facade and Werles subtle, stomping electroarrangements are an ideal breeding ground for sonorous vocals and warm guitar sounds.
These two twentysomethings will make you go crazy, dance and cry for more.
On 30th january 09 the last concert took place and now the two boys go different ways.
