Johannes Stankowski, who enjoyed noteworthy success with Werle & Stankowski, now returns to his roots as a folk & pop songwriter.
With Benedikt Filleböck (Wolke), Philipp Janzen (Von Spar, Urlaub in Polen), Volker Zander (Calexico), Daniel Schaub (Jack Beauregard) and Dan Enderer he recorded a timeless album of international relevance. Produced by Tobias Levin (Blumfeld, Kante, Tocotronic) and Stankowski himself.

That's what Johannes Stankowski sings about. His songs turn on your most precious feelings. Many Songwriters try to achieve that, only few succeed. Stankowski attains even more in what he does. In these ten blazingly beautiful songs, he finds an expression and a sound vesture for confident melancholy. Therefor he's let exquisite colleagues get him into the right mood: Harry Nilsson, Rodgers and Hart, Burt Bacharach, Nick Drake. Also he invited some very exquisite musicians into the studio who are playing a cheerful bass, prudent drums, a winking piano and graceful guitars.
